    The National Jamboree is held approximately every four years. The next one is scheduled for 2010; the centennial of Boy Scouting in the USA, five years after the 16th Jamboree.

    1st National Jamboree 1937 – Washington, D.C.
    2nd National Jamboree 1950 – Valley Forge, Pennsylvania
    3rd National Jamboree 1953 – Irvine Ranch, California
    4th National Jamboree 1957 – Valley Forge, Pennsylvania
    5th National Jamboree 1960 (50 Year Anniversary) – Colorado Springs, Colorado
    6th National Jamboree 1964 – Valley Forge, Pennsylvania
    7th National Jamboree 1969 – Farragut State Park, Idaho
    8th National Jamboree 1973 – Idaho & Pennsylvania
